True to form, the cameraman behind the PhoneBuff channel has decided between the two flagships. a series of drop tests. During initial testing, the iPhone 11 Pro Max and Galaxy S20 Ultra fall to the ground on their glass backs. After this first round, the back glass of Apple’s smartphone was completely broken. The damage extends across the entire back surface of the device.
For its part, the Galaxy S20 Ultra walks away without the slightest scratch. According to PhoneBuff, the prominent rectangular photo block of the smartphone received the shock instead of the glass surface. Obviously, it all depends on the angle at which the terminal contacts the base.
As part of the second test, two smartphones fall in a cornerIt is one of the most easily damaged areas over time. Two devices on this side are the neck and the neck. Only slight abrasions are visible. PhoneBuff still gives this second-round victory to the slightly damaged iPhone 11 Pro Max.

As always, PhoneBuff ends the drop tests with an even more brutal bonus round. In this final test, both smartphones face to face ten times in a row. After 10 drops, iPhone screen continues to work and Face ID continues to work. The S20 Ultra, on the other hand, is completely unusable. The bottom of the AMOLED panel has gone black and the screen appears to be recording invisible commands. At this stage, the fingerprint reader is therefore out of service.
