Days after leaked gameplay videos from GTA 6 surfaced online, Rockstar Games contacted the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to investigate the person behind these leaks. The leaker was reportedly arrested in London earlier today.
GTA 6 leaks dominated the internet for several days, for the first time the community was able to see unmistakable gameplay videos. However, Rockstar Games was worried about this as their efforts were in vain.

GTA 6 leak reportedly arrested in London
Grand Theft Auto 6 is the upcoming title in Rockstar Games’ iconic series. While fans enjoy the weekly updates in GTA 5 or GTA Online, their anticipation for the upcoming game exceeds the excitement of the current game.
As a result, fans were overjoyed when leaks related to the title started to gain traction online. On the flip side, Rockstar Games held my mom for a while before finally making an official announcement.
Expressing their gratitude to their fans, the developers confirmed that the game will not be delayed while simultaneously starting the investigation. The identity of the hacker was revealed to belong to a 17-year-old boy who was also responsible for a cyber attack on the hacking group Uber.

While Rockstar Games and Uber are working in coordination, the apparently underage hacker was arrested by UK police earlier today. The report was shared by prominent journalist Matthew Keys, who stated that the FBI may issue an official statement on the arrest case later.
Some earlier reports claimed that the hacker also had previous arrest records, but no serious case was brought against him. However, as GTA With 6 hacking cases turned over to the FBI, we’re unlikely to see any more leaks regarding the game.
GTA 6 is said to be released in early 2023 by Rockstar Games, given that the current title will soon complete 10 years of its release. It’s possible that the developers are trying to make some changes to their game as most of the content has been revealed.
