The Batman mod, made by JulioNIB, which previously included Godzilla, Superman and Jaws in the game, announced its newest inventions on February 2 with a video showing its features (spotted by GameRant).
JUlioNIB’s Batman Script Mod allows PC users to fast run, slide, and grapple about Los Santos while wearing lots of Batsuits (or just wandering around as a costumeless Bruce Wayne). The mod also adds its own melee combat, reminiscent of the Arkham series and featuring slow motion finishers from that series.
A total of 12 bat vehicles are available, including the 1989 Batmobile and Tumbler from The Dark Knight Trilogy. They can be summoned, dispatched, and even have their own arsenal of weapons.
Tumbler’s arsenal includes machine guns, rockets, guided missiles, rear-fired spikes to flatten tyres, a grapple, slick oil to eject following vehicles, and a self-destruct mode when things go wrong.

The Batcycle and Batplane are two other vehicles, with the latter containing a guard mode to protect the player while fighting (or committing) crime. GTA mode
The remote control mode in Batarang and Arkham games is among the devices that Batman can use. Disarm mode, smoke, electric, incendiary, freezing and explosive variants are all available and each does what it says on the tin.
Batclaw can also take over buildings, planes and opponents with these various attacks. Similar to the hack mechanics in Watchdogs: Legion, the Disruptor Gun creates more mayhem by wreaking havoc on vehicles. A Crypto Spear, Shock Gauntlets, and pellets that explode with smoke, fire, or ice are also available to the player, which can be used to stake opponents from far or near.
The mod is currently in pre-release and available only to JulioNIB’s Patreon supporters. According to JulioNIB, they will now “start a new project and ‘quiet’ the Batman script for a while”, but ideally, it won’t be long before a release version is available.
The mod is inspired by Rocksteady’s Arkham series, which is rumored to be coming to Nintendo Switch. With Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League being delayed to 2023, this mod may come closest to a new Rocksteady experience in a long time.
