The Genshin Impact Immernachtreich Apokalypse quest, also known as Fischl Domain, is the third major questline in the Summertime Odyssey event. If you think Previous Domains are difficult, trust us; You haven’t tried the Immernachtreich Nightraven puzzles yet.
To save you from wasting an eternity at Fischl Domain, here is a complete Genshin Impact Immernachtreich Apokalypse guide with puzzles ‘repair the bridge’ and ‘toy castle’.
And if you’re looking for help elsewhere, we have a Genshin Impact Broken Isle puzzle guide and Genshin Impact Phantasmal Conch locations for some of the newer puzzles.
Immernachtreich Apocalypse, Fischl Domain, part one
Enter the castle
Use the Deep Look mechanics to solve the first Immernachtreich Apocalypse puzzles. If you interact with one of these mechanics, they will give you ‘Nightraven Vision’ which allows you to change buildings. If it is difficult to position buildings correctly, try to pay attention to the purple circle in the middle. The closer you get to the puzzle solution, the more visible it becomes.
To complete the “Enter the Castle” quest, place the bridge as shown on the left side of the picture. Then go up and take the elevator down (stop in the middle and activate). Use Deep Look again, but this time in the upper bridge as shown on the right. Use the elevator again to enter the castle.
Repair the bridge
Walk all the way to the end and use the first Deep Look on the left bridge to solve the Genshin Impact Repair the Bridge puzzle. The correct position is difficult to find, so use the picture above for reference. You have to zoom in pretty far. After that, use the second Look of Depth to move the remaining piece and successfully repair the bridge.
In the next area, you’ll find an optional puzzle with two more broken bridges. Use the Deep Look mechanism to repair the bridge, then take the nearby elevator to go up. Take the Common Chest, then repeat the process with the other mechanism. After receiving the second Common Chest, jump onto the ledge between the two bridges. Defeat the Hilichurls, then jump down again to get a Precious Chest containing the Nightwatch Contract.
After that you will encounter a Nightraven named Leon. Your task is to get him out as he is stuck in a maze. We have more details on how to save Leon the Nightraven at Genshin Impact at this link, and you might want to keep that page handy as you’ll need to save him two more times before you’re done. For now, you’ll need to use the Deep Look closest to where you triggered Leon’s cutscene to find two more Deep Look mechanics.
And that completes the first part of the Fischl Domain. Complete the intermediate quest in the Golden Apple Archipelago to begin the second chapter.
Immernachtreich Apocalypse, Fischl Domain, part two
Repair the bridge and find the Phantasmal Conch
To open Fischl Domain again, you need to climb the mountain according to the instructions. But there is no need to climb. You can find an elevator nearby.
To solve the first puzzle in this part of the Immernachtreich Apokalypse quest, you need to use the Look of the Deep to place the stone pillar over the gap in the bridge as shown in the picture. Then continue on your way.
When you reach the last stone square in front of the wooden platform, don’t forget to grab the “As the Noble’s Resolve” Phantasmal Conch on your right! There is also a ladder leading down to a Precious Chest containing another Nightwatch Contract.
Repair the road
Go to the wooden platform and aim the Vision of Depth at the top of the tower as shown in the picture. No need to rotate the tower yet. Follow the path upstairs until you see a Fatui Cryo Mage and a group of Hilichurl. Defeat them and then rotate the square mechanism twice.
Use Deep Look a little further down to match this image. The tower should be on its side, pointing to the right. After that, follow the path again and climb the ladder. You will see a group of Hilichurl to your right and a wind current to your left. You also have another rotation square in front of you.
Turn the spin mechanism once, then use Derin’s close-up look. Zoom in as much as possible and then move all the way to the left. Use the picture for reference.
Before climbing the tower though, use the rotating square again and fly up with the wind current. Descend to the spinning tower and use the Vision of Depth to repair the bridge on the other side.
You are now ready to climb the ladder and cross the bridge on the right (before starting the ‘Save Leon’ quest). Follow the path all the way to the end to get another Precious Chest with the Nightwatch Contract inside. Of course, there will be some enemies on the way.
After entering the castle, another cutscene with Leon the raven will be triggered. As before, you still have to save him using the Deep Look mechanics. Start with the one downstairs and move forward by moving the wooden boxes, floating stone and brown pillar.
Immernachtreich Apocalypse, Fischl Domain, part three
Toy castle puzzle part 1
Use the Vision of Depth to place the block in the purple square at the bottom of the ladder. Cross the bridge and go through the cutscene. The next Immernachtreich Apokalypse objective is to find the lost toy castle pieces; one in the east and one in the west. We’ll start from the east.
Use the first Look of the Depth you see. Place the cube in the purple square as before, then climb the ladder.
Then use the View of the Deep in the east.
Then go clockwise to find the next one. You need to place the smaller, attached block in the purple square. Do the same with the third cube (see picture).
After solving the block puzzle, follow the path until you reach a dead end. All you have to do is float down; far below is another block puzzle. If you take the ladder on the right and turn the corner, you’ll find another Precious Chest with the Nightwatch Contract.
Here’s how to solve the next Immernachtreich puzzle:
- Use the Depth Sight first on the left. Place the smaller block in front of the larger one (see left part of the image).
- Use the other Deep Look and place the smaller cube on the right. (right side of picture).
Then, use the wind currents to reach the stone stairs to the south (do not descend into the floating cubes). Get Hilichurls and collect the toy castle piece. You can take the elevator to go back.
Toy castle puzzle part 2
We found the first missing toy castle piece, now we’re heading west to find the second one. After defeating the Hilichurls, use the Deep Look in front of you. Watch until the building is fully elevated, then climb the ladder on the other side.
There’s a second Depth Look here, but you can’t use it yet. Instead, glide into the third View of the Depth below (see image). Use this to rotate the tower and then lift the elevator up. Interact with the previous Look to complete the ladder and then follow the path until you see the last missing toy castle piece.
Toy castle puzzle part 3
You can use the wind currents to return directly to the toy castle, or jump down to get another Nightwatch Contract. Use the Night Raven sight (move left, zoom in) to solve the toy castle puzzle as shown in the picture.
Congratulations, finally the Immernachtreich toy castle puzzle is complete! Then use the wind currents in front of you to travel to the great castle. Guess what? It’s time to save Leon for the third and final time. Start with the Vision of Depth to its right and use it to move the cubes to the square on the wall, which will involve using Nightraven vision.
After completing the Save Leon puzzle, go upstairs to close the last book.
Complete the Fischl Domain Name
You didn’t think it was over yet, did you? After encountering Fischl’s evil twin, you will suddenly find yourself stuck in a maze. Here’s how to resolve this last part of the Immernachtreich Domain:
- Go straight, turn left when you can’t go further. Repeat this twice.
- When the road splits, go right.
- Go left in the next two panes.
You should be able to see the evil Fischl at the top of the ladder. Head over to start the final cutscene and (finally!) complete the Immernachtreich Apocalypse quest!
