Genshin Courage Impact Test guide

Genshin Impact Test of Courage is part of the Akitsu Kimodameshi event, which will run until January 2. To pass the Test of Courage you need to team up with a playable character, navigate the Chinju Forest and be the first to receive a special reward. . Unfortunately, it’s dangerously easy to get lost in the misty woods…

The Test of Courage, the introductory quest for the Akitsu Kimodameshi event, unlocks a number of additional event challenges. If you don’t want to hang around in the Chinju Forest for too long, here is a Genshin Courage Impact Test you can watch.

Genshin Impact Courage Test requirements

As always, this Genshin Impact event comes with a few entry requirements:

• Reach Adventure Rank 30.
• Complete the Archon Quest ‘Ritou Escape Plan’. Part II, Act I, is part of the ‘Immovable God and Eternal Euthymia’. So it’s the first installment of the Inazuma-based main questline.
• Optional: Complete Arataki Itto’s Story Quest. Doing so will give you a much better understanding of the story of this event, but you can bypass this requirement by clicking the “quick launch” option in the event menu.

Start the Test of Courage and choose a partner

To start the Genshin Courage Impact Test, go to the Kamisato Mansion to speak with Ayato. He will briefly describe the three-trial test in the Chinju Forest. Leave the Kamisato Mansion and talk to Itto before heading south where you’ll find the Shrine Maiden hosting the event.

It will ask you to choose a Courage Test partner: either Kazuha, Ayaka or Gorou. This selection only affects dialogue, not Test of Courage gameplay.

Test of Courage part one: Dango Milk

With a Courage Test partner by your side, it’s time to start the first try. In short, you have to follow the arrows until you reach Dango Milk. If you choose the wrong path, you have to restart the challenge. Here’s how to follow the right way:

• Follow the road ahead until you reach the junction (see picture).
• Take the road to the left, then turn left again and go up the stairs with the statues.
• Itto will ambush your party, but you have to ignore it and continue upward towards the statue with glowing eyes.
• Turn right to find Dango Milk.
• Go through a series of cutscenes to complete the mission.

To begin the second part of the Test of Courage, you must participate in the Akitsu Yuugei activity trial on the beach. There are six different event stages, but you only have to do one and the final score doesn’t matter. The gameplay is pretty simple: bounce the basic balls back to destroy the bricks. Destroying all bricks completes the Akitsu Yuugei challenge.

Test of Courage part two: Haunted Tales

The second part of the Test of Courage, Haunted Tales, begins near the southern Teleport Waypoint in Chinju Forest.

• Select a Courage Test partner again. This time the choice is between Yoimiya, Thoma and Sayu.
• Follow the road ahead, past Onikabuto, until I saw the two arrows at the bottom of the ladder. Take the road to the left (see left side of image).
• cross the river to the left (middle picture).
• Go right on the third pair of conflicting arrows. You will find the fan a few steps away, next to the tall rocks.
• Receiving the fan completes the second part of the Test of Courage. however, to unlock the third chapter, you will have to go through a few interviews and go through an Akitsu Yuugei challenge again.

Test of Courage, part three: Streams of Life

For the third part of the Genshin Courage Impact Test, go back to the Chinju Forest Teleport Waypoint and talk to Heizou. This time there is no other partner option and you don’t have to follow any arrows. What you should do:

• Collect the two clues and keep chasing the mission objective.
• When you are tasked with finding “something unusual” on the beach, look under the overhanging rock (see photo).
• Review the rest of the dialogue to complete the final Test of Courage.
