Fortnite Queen Challenge: how to start and complete

The Fortnite Quen Challenge is a bespoke quest set on a creatively crafted island and set in the world of Geralt of Fortnite, so it offers a different experience than the usual quests you have to complete during battle royale. While you can access it at any time, once you’ve made a certain amount of progress in the Fortnite Llama School challenges, you’ll be directed there specifically whenever you find an obstacle blocking your way. You’ll need to complete the Quen Challenge in Fortnite to remove it to continue your progress, so here’s where to find it and how to beat it.

Where is the Fortnite Queen Challenge

The Fortnite Quen Challenge is a creatively constructed island, and there are several different ways to find it. You can open Discover page from Lobby and search under popular levels, follow this link (opens in new tab) To find it on the Fortnite website and add it to your playlist or just enter Island Code 5412-2194-1119 on the Explore page to go directly within the game. After selecting, you can launch it from the main Lobby screen to login. Note that you don’t need to reach the Lama School path to play the Quen Challenge, but only by completing the obstacle once you reach that stage.

How to complete the Fortnite Queen Challenge?

When you start the Fortnite Quen Challenge with up to three players, one of you must interact with the Quest Board to start the story of The King’s Jester and then talk to the jester to begin the quest. It’s an escort mission and along the way you’ll need to take down various waves of enemies to keep your target safe. While you’re only armed with one Basic Sword to begin with, you can use them to buy better weapons from the market stalls if you collect as many coins as possible as you proceed. Don’t stress too much about elimination, as you’ll be respawning nearby to continue the battle.

Fight through all 12 encounters, including the final boss, and the door will open so you can exit the area. Interact with the boat you found to travel to Kaer Morhen, then testify at the Place of Power to complete the Fortnite Quen Challenge. You’ll get a lot of XP the first time you emote there, but it seems that if you keep displaying emotes, you’ll get a smaller XP reward each time, so it’s worth repeating this until the notifications stop appearing for some extra leveling up before continuing.
