Fans were excited and eager when the game finally launched. However, as players explored the game, some features seemed to cause dissatisfaction and break their expectations.

The game map for “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” received significant criticism from fans due to its approach, which combined new elements with the previous map from “Breath of the Wild.” Players had expressed a desire to see more interesting and interactive elements on the map.

So they expected to find new locations that would present unique challenges, break the routine and offer captivating experiences. But that wasn’t what happened!

2. The temples

One of the decisions Nintendo made in “Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” was to bring back temples, which initially pleased many fans.

However, some players expressed disappointment that these temples did not present challenges or impressive elements that differentiated the experience from previous games in the series.

Fans expected the temples to offer complex puzzles that required strategy and reasoning to solve. Unfortunately, they found the puzzles in the temples of “Tears of the Kingdom” to be relatively easy and did not provide the desired level of satisfaction.

Fans expressed discontent regarding the powers granted to the main character, Link, by the avatars of the sages. According to reviews, these powers were considered to be of little use and did not add much to the overall gameplay of the game.

Players expected the powers of the sage avatars to offer special and unique abilities that could be utilized in strategic and exciting ways.
