Extreme difficulty: meet studios that produce ultra-challenging games

Although the formulas are distinct, both studios work at an “abnormal” level of difficulty. This is because both FromSoftware (creator of “Elden Ring” and “Dark Souls”) and Paradox Interactive (responsible for “Stellaris” and “Crusader Kings III”) produce games that require an above-normal amount of patience and dedication.

Essentially difficult games

Recently, it has become clear that Paradox Interactive’s games are particularly challenging, making them less accessible to the general public. In fact, some players have even joked on Twitter that they can’t understand the studio’s games.

“I installed and uninstalled Hearts of Iron 4 more than four times because I just didn’t understand anything,” said one user.

Additionally, there are reports of players who have spent an incredible 1,500+ hours in a Paradox Interactive game and still haven’t managed to complete the tutorial.
