One of the things that players most often look for in games is, without a doubt, the “bugs” or flaws that allow them to explore a new perspective or even gain an advantage over others. For this reason, many developers need to frequently update their works so that these errors can be fixed and no one loses out.
Not even the biggest hits in the gaming world escape flaws, as is the case with Epic Games’ giant, “Fortnite”. Recently, players found a method capable of helping them win a game without much effort, but the producer has taken measures against the smart ones.
‘Fortnite’: Bug Allows You to Kill Virtually Any Enemy
In the current season 2 and chapter 4 of “Fortnite”, a new glitch has been discovered. This bug can basically give the player mobility and the ability to cause damage without the enemy reacting. Therefore, Epic Games has been forced to take action to combat the inappropriate use of this error.
The bug is related to the melee weapon “Kinect Blade,” a sword exclusive to this chapter that already causes enormous damage when used naturally. Even so, users were still able to “upgrade” the melee weapon.
How does the glitch work?
In this advantage discovered and exposed by Tabor Hill on YouTube, users must first find the weapon. After picking it up, they must go to the open field to face another person. Once this is done, when they find someone, they just need to turn off the Wi-Fi and advance, attacking the enemy with the sword.
After dealing a significant amount of damage, the player reconnects to the internet. This causes the attacked user to die instantly, for no apparent reason. Due to Wi-Fi access, the process is mainly done on a PC.

Epic Games combats the practice
The developer is taking action against this offensive practice. First, the company removed the weapon from tournaments, as this advantage in competitive mode could cause even greater problems. In addition, players who are caught using this bug will now be banned from the game for a period of 24 hours or more.
