Can you sell cars in Gran Turismo 7?

If you’re wondering how to sell a car in Gran Turismo 7, we’ve gathered all the information you need right here. Unfortunately, that’s not great news if you want to earn a few extra Credits by unloading a few of your unwanted cars. Don’t worry though, there are many ways to earn money in Gran Turismo 7 and having as many unique vehicles as possible means you’ll raise your Collector’s Level. Here’s what you need to know about selling cars in Gran Turismo 7.

How to sell a car in Gran Turismo 7

Unlike previous Gran Turismo games, Gran Turismo 7 unfortunately does not offer players a way to sell cars to earn a few extra credits. You would think you could sell unwanted cars to a Used Car dealership or auction them off to other players to earn some money, but that’s not the case.

So you can’t sell cars in Gran Turismo 7, but if you need to get rid of an extra copy car, you can do so by going to the Garage and selecting ‘Replace Car’ and then hovering over the copy. pressing the car and the Triangle. This will bring up a small menu of options, one of which is ‘Cancel’. Choosing this will permanently remove the car from your Garage, but you will not spend or earn any Gran Turismo 7 Credits doing so. If you try to dispose of a car you only have one of, the game will give you an error message, preventing you from discarding it.

Gran Turismo 7 features a Collector’s Level XP system that allows you to earn points every time you buy a new car for your collection. As your collections grow, you’ll unlock new features like all levels of Tuning Parts, from Club Sports to Extreme. It is therefore recommended that you collect and purchase at least one of each of the 424 cars in Gran Turismo 7 to level up.

You may want to keep your Gran Turismo car Garage tidy with only one of each car, but having duplicates allows you to more easily test tuning setups. You can even have more radically different setups on two of the same cars. If you own a copy of one of the starter hot hatches, you can customize one to be a super fast, straight racer and tune the other to be a solid, dirt-road car for the rally stages.
