All Battlefield 2042 weapons unlocked in multiplayer

There are loads of Battlefield 2042 weapons to choose from and use in the chaos of battle, but you’ll find seven weapons to try at the start, one for each weapon type. You’ll be able to unlock all 22 weapons just by playing, and the more you use a weapon, the more add-ons you’ll unlock. Using the new customization system, you can instantly change your attachments to suit your current situation, including your optics, ammo/magazine type, muzzle attachments and under-barrel attachments. Known as Zero Hour, Battlefield 2042 Season 1 adds a few new weapons, including an explosive crossbow. Here are all the weapons you can unlock in Battlefield 2042.

Battlefield 2042 weapon types

You can equip any of the following weapons in your Equipment for your Battlefield 2042 Specialists to use. All the weapons listed below can be unlocked in Battlefield 2042 and are organized by weapon type. Weapons of each type are then sorted by the level you unlocked, with the default unlocks appearing first. These weapon categories are:

• New Zero Hour weapons
• assault rifle – Versatile rifles useful for a variety of ranges
• SMGs – Close-range weapons with high rate of fire and fast handling
• LMGs – Heavy weapons with large magazines and good suppression abilities
• sniper – Wide range rifles bridging the gap between Assault Rifle and Sniper Rifle
• Sniper – Precision rifles made to hit targets at extreme distances
• Benefit – Shotguns for close range combat, but who knows what else could fit in this category
• pistols – Quick weapons that can quickly finish off the enemies

It’s also worth noting that there are numerous other weapons from past Battlefield games as part of Battlefield 2042 Portal, such as the AN-94, M60, and M1 Garand. All these historical weapons are available to almost all players and can only be used in Portal modes.

Battlefield 2042 Season 1 weapons

You can unlock the new Ghostmaker R-10 Crossbow and BSV-M Marksman Rifle in Battlefield 2042 Season 1. The Ghostmaker can do explosive damage with his bolts, doing a good job in dealing damage to enemy clusters and vehicles; As for BSV, the BSV -M appears to have an integrated suppressor, making it a great stealth weapon for a variety of playstyles. Both can be unlocked for free as part of the Season 1 battle pass – you don’t need to purchase the premium battle pass to get these weapons!

Battlefield 2042 assault rifles

M5A3

The M5A3 is Battlefield 2042’s most standard weapon. It has a good rate of fire and easy-to-control vertical recoil, a true all-rounder that makes it useful in closer engagements, and enough range and good attachments to make it better for further targets.

AK-24

A standard weapon for Russian forces, the AK-24 is more powerful and has better range compared to the M5A3. Its lower grip and slower rate of fire means it will be defeated by other Assault Rifles and any SMG at close range, so it’s best to specify the AK-24 for longer range fights with a zoomed optics and extended barrel. Note that this gun can be fired in single shot and burst modes and fully automatic!

SFAR-M GL

The high-powered Assault Rifle is being replaced by the SFAR-M in Battlefield 2042. This weapon is the most damaging of any Assault Rifle and comes with solid range and accuracy. However, the handling leaves a lot to be desired, and the 20-round clip means you have to make every shot count, or you’re in for a punishing reload. This Assault Rifle is also equipped with an under-barrel grenade launcher right off the bat.

AC-42

The AC-42 is the high-fire lead hose of the Battlefield 2042 Assault Rifle family. It comes with solid basic stats like the M5A3, but has slightly better accuracy and range, and a much better rate of fire at 1200 RPM – the M5A3 is only 750 RPM and the SFAR is only 600. This gun can be devastating in the right hands, provided you can control recoil and maintain a quick trigger finger.

Battlefield 2042 SMGs

PBX-45

If you’re looking for an easy-to-use Battlefield 2042 SMG, the PMX-45 is for you. Its high rate of fire means it has moderate recoil, but it’s so vertical that it looks easy to control. As an SMG, it obviously moves very fast and is great for navigating tight interiors near Conquest points.

PP-29

With only marginally poorer accuracy and usage statistics compared to the PBX-45, the PP-29 is another good SMG to use. Its rate of fire is just 650 RPM, but it has a massive 53-round clip – the largest of any long range SMGs. It can hit pretty hard, so a muzzle brake may be required to make the PP-29 easier to control.

MP9

The MP9 is more of a submachine gun than an SMG. Given its diminutive size, it has fast handling, controllable recoil, and a fast 900 RPM fire rate compared to other SMGs, but it lacks in just about every other aspect. This weapon suits highly mobile Specialists like MacKay with an aggressive run-and-gun or for more stealthy playstyles.

K30

If the MP9 is a good weapon for aggressive playstyles, the K30 is reserved for aggression only. It has the highest rate of fire in the SMG category with 1150 RPM which gives it great DPS and its lower recoil and faster handling make it strong in good hands. Note that especially low range means sneaking around, and using a suppressor is even recommended.

Battlefield 2042 LMGs

LCMG

The LCMG has everything you would expect from a submachine gun. It has a low rate of fire, but pumps out lots of high-damage shells with surprisingly low recoil. With a 100-round clip, it’s great for suppressing your enemies. You can even equip it with anti-material shells that do more damage to vehicles in Battlefield 2042.

PKP-BP

If you’re up for something a little tougher in Battlefield 2042, the PKP-BP LMG offers more firepower, thanks largely to a 200-round magazine and an 800 RPM fire rate, compared to the LCMG’s 600 RPM. The PKP is the ultimate suppression weapon, but it can be deadly if you can work on its poor accuracy and handling.

Battlefield 2042 Sniper Rifles

DM7

The DM7 feels like a modified version of the M5A3 Assault Rifle. It has all the reliability and versatility of this assault rifle, but in a long-range form, with a much longer barrel, the ability to equip high-damage bullets and higher zoom optics. This weapon is flexible enough to allow you to catch enemies at range like a sniper, while also allowing you to reposition more easily.

SVK

Acting more like a Sniper Rifle, the SVK has higher damage and range compared to the DM7, but lacks handling, rate of fire, and clip size. Due to the inability to make consecutive shots quickly, you will have much more confidence in your accuracy with the SVK. If you want a longer range weapon but don’t want to use a Sniper Rifle, the SVK is for you.

VCAR

VCAR is a bit odd for a Marksman gun. It’s a relatively small gun with very low firepower, but it makes up for it with a large 20-round clip and 450 RPM rate of fire. The VCAR is essentially like a longer-range pistol, meaning it can be good for smashing enemies farther away, but it also functions as a single fired SMG at close range. No matter how you use this weapon, accuracy is key because missing your shots means you’ll easily get ahead of your class among all other weapon types.

Battlefield 2042 Sniper Rifles

SWS-10

The SWS-10 is an astonishingly fast-moving bolt-action sniper rifle. With an eight-round magazine and a quick bolt cycle, you can fire fast sniper shots fairly easily for good suppression or easy kills. You can even go for a high-powered sniper rifle rig by giving up optics and sticking to iron sights.

DXR-1

The only way other Sniper Rifles can pass through the SWS-10 in terms of firepower is up. The DXR-1 maximizes the SWS’s stats even more, with a slower fire rate, 5-round clip, and worse handling at the cost of more damage, range, and accuracy. The DXR also comes with an 8x zoom scope by default compared to the SWS’s default 6x zoom scope, so you’ll be able to aim more accurately with this weapon right from the start.

NTW-50

The NTW-50 is as powerful as a base weapon in Battlefield 2042. While the NTW is technically a Sniper Rifle and can take down enemies at extremely long ranges, it’s also an anti-materiel rifle that can do good damage. to vehicles. If you choose to carry the NTW in your cargo, be prepared to take on a more supportive, vehicle-killing role. The extremely low 24 RPM fire rate, 3-round clip and very slow handling mean this isn’t a good Sniper Rifle for beating soldiers.

Battlefield 2042 shotguns

MCS-880

The MCS-880 is Battlefield 2042’s standard shotgun weapon. It offers the usual pellet spread you’d expect to see from a shotgun with a good rate of fire for fast pursuit shots. A run-and-gun playstyle is essential to making shotguns usable in Battlefield 2042 due to the size of the maps, but equipping bullet shells will add more range to your MCS-880.

GVT 45-70

Now a totally bizarre Battlefield 2042 gun, the GVT 45-70 is a leveraged slug shotgun. This means it fires a large, precision bullet instead of the usual pellet spread, and its arm needs to be recharged after each shot to load the next bullet. This setup gives the GVT great range and accuracy for a shotgun, and it even comes with a 2x zoon scope to assist. However, the relatively low 92 RPM rate of fire for this shotgun means you’ll be easily knocked down by other close-range weapons if you’re not accurate enough.

12M Automatic

Serving as Battlefield 2042’s only fully automatic shotgun, the 12M is equipped with an 8-round magazine that it can go through fairly quickly with a 300 RPM fire rate. It doesn’t have the range or damage to match the MCS-880, but the larger magazine and rapid fire mean aggression is often rewarded with this gun. You’ll want a mobile Specialist and maybe a few Armor Plates that will give you extra health boosts for insane close-range combat.

Battlefield 2042 pistols

G57

Battlefield 2042’s starting weapon is the G57. The simplest pistol on the market, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. Low-damage shots are balanced by a solid rate of fire and a large clip. If you’re short on reloads in a head-to-head fight, switching to your G57 will always be faster than reloading.

MP28

The default stock, grip, and housing gizmos on the MP28 mean it’s more than just a standard pistol like the G57. It suffers a bit to use as a result, but the pistol is accurate and has better range, making it a precision weapon. It’s a great weapon to switch to quickly if you need some close range, precision fire when using a fully automatic weapon like the SMG.

M44

A revolver of some kind is almost a legal requirement in shooter video games, and the M44 fills that slot in Battlefield 2042. It has a small 6-round magazine, but each of these rounds has good range, accuracy, and packs some serious punch. Unfortunately, you also carry the power of each shot, because its handling is incredibly poor, with slow reload and high recoil. Let’s be honest, you’re probably using this for style points, even if it’s powerful.
