After much criticism, ‘Gollum’ developers apologize for the game

The new game in the “Lord of the Rings” franchise was recently released by Daedalic Entertainment. “The Lord of The Rings: Gollum” arrived on digital platforms last Thursday (25).

The game follows the original story of Gollum escaping from Mordor in search of the ring of power. Since Gollum is not a great warrior, the gameplay of the game is focused on “underground living”. Find out more below.

After the release, it didn’t take long for the game’s poor reception from the public to spread. Many people who were previously looking forward to the new game ended up disappointed. The reviews about the game are mostly negatives.

But make no mistake, after all, these were not just comments from the general public, but from specialist critics that the production received.

The Guardian, PushSquare, PCGamesN and GameSpot reviewed the game, and the low scores surprised everyone. As the main problems, critics highlighted that the plot is uninteresting and the gameplay is repetitive.
