“For us that’s a big message, because a lot of people’s mindsets change when I announce that I’m staying. People said, ‘Yeah, we don’t need to go out. You don’t need to leave the country.”

Mbappe is unlikely to leave the club any time soon, even as Real Madrid rekindles their interest, with a deal to run until 2025 at Parc des Princes. However, questions have been raised about whether Mbappe is truly happy at PSG after various problems on the pitch, including rumors with teammate Neymar.
Mbappe, who has made 19 appearances in all competitions this season, with 18 goals and 5 assists, will lead France’s quest for the World Cup as they try to defend the title they won in 2018.
In contrast, Ancelotti’s team spent €100 million from AS Monaco on Aurelien Tchouameni, Mbappe’s teammate on the international stage during the summer.
