England and Manchester United defender Harry Maguire was seen sharpening his dribbling capacity at Three Lions practice while improving preparations for the 2022 World Cup. England’s 2022 FIFA World Cup group includes Iran, Wales and the USA.
Maguire has come under harsh criticism this season for his unconvincing performances for both club and country, but he is determined to get past that and make a good appearance in Qatar. This season, he has backed up for Manchester United several times.
During a training program with England, Maguire was seen on the pitch displaying skills that only a flexible and fluid player like Ronaldinho can do. However, it turned out that the soaring and long-limbed defender managed the roulette spin effortlessly, confusing Phil Foden.
The 29-year-old remains English football’s most expensive defender, but has yet to settle for the high fee Man United paid Leicester to sign him. Despite his importance under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, his form declined after the Norwegian player was sacked in November last year. His fans on social media attacked him. He also received bomb threats at his home earlier this year.
