Key Tottenham star, Antonio Conte: spends around £1,000,000 improving his game as part of reports

Emerson Royal He reportedly spent £1,000,000 developing as a footballer for Tottenham in his desperate attempt to impress Antonio Conte. The 23-year-old winger was paid £25m to join the Spurs in 2021, but Conte wasn’t immediately impressed, according to a January 2021 The Times report. Conte felt that the wingback forward “didn’t fit the bill”.

However, Royal made an effort to move the game level away from the training ground and purchased the hyperbaric oxygen tank to maintain his fitness level, according to sources.

Paris Saint-Germain defender Achraf Hakimi, who had succeeded in Conte’s system at Inter Milan and scored seven goals in just 45 games for the Nerazzurri, was also the subject of a scouting report apparently ordered by the Spurs wing-back. According to the story, Royal and his father’s management team hired a neuroscientist to help him cope with the high demands of playing in the Premier League.

His commitment and efforts to improve as a player seem to be paying off, as Royal has solidified the right-back position for Tottenham this season and has appeared in every game so far and contributed an assist.

The 23-year-old has drawn criticism from many Tottenham fans for not being an offensive threat, as Royal contributed only one goal and one assist in 41 games for the Spurs last season.

But Tottenham manager Conte recently expressed his admiration for Brazil and earlier this month stated that he was “really happy” with Royal and impressed him with his work ethic. Conte also noted that “it has improved a lot since last season”.

A significant part of this can be attributed to his alleged work investigating Hakimi, who is widely regarded as one of the best defenders in European football. Interestingly, it was his father, Emerson Zulu, who reportedly ordered the scout report to help his son get PSG right back in 11 games this season, with two goals and two assists in 11 games for the Paris club.

The defender is also reportedly drafted by neuroscientist and human behavior expert Dr Fabiano de Abreu Agrela, who has previously worked with other professional football players, including QPR loan Eduardo Vargas. Abreu Agrela claimed that Royal was committed to getting better and that the advocate fully embraced his teachings.

Dr. De Abreu told sources: “HE [Royal] He is willing to do whatever it takes to give and give his best.

“It’s not easy for a player to leave some kind of culture and expectations and go to the fastest and toughest league on the planet. This adaptation plays with the mind.”
