Former Inter Milan football player suspended after using E-Cigarette on bench

Royal Antwerp midfielder Radja Nainggolan, the club has been suspended indefinitely for general behavior that reflects poorly on the Belgian Pro League club, the club said on Monday. According to Belgian media, the former Inter Milan and AS Roma player was arrested last week for driving with an expired license and was seen smoking an e-cigarette on the bench before losing 3-0 to Standard Liege on Sunday.

“Clear agreements have been made on what our club expects and does not expect from the player.” Antwerp stated.

Antwerp, which is one point behind KRC Genk in the First Division, added that the 34-year-old former Belgian international Nainggolan and the club will not comment further as they prepare for matches against KV Ostend and Genk.

However, Nainggolan apologized on his Instagram account for his actions. “The club made a decision that I can only accept, although I thought it might be a bit too heavy for me. But I will try to contribute one way or another,” he said. he captioned.

During his time in Rome he said: “I am not ashamed of my smoking and I have never hidden this habit.
