All good things must come to an end. The (legal) plan to make streaming services cheaper will soon be a distant memory. Of course we want to talk password sharing. It’s a widely used practice that Netflix has successfully killed and the competition is planning to adopt. Disney+ will do so in certain countries by the end of 2023, with new rules. So it was only a matter of time before everyone was affected, but we’ve been waiting ever since.
Assuming the end of account sharing will happen in the same way Netflix has adopted it, namely paid authorization only, there’s no telling when we’ll eventually have to reach into our pockets.
