A Harvard Universityfrom the United States, one of the most famous and prestigious in the world, made a ranking of films capable of stimulating the human mind.
Using a series of criteria, university researchers came up with four titles that present the necessary elements to instigate thought and imagination.
In the publication, the researchers highlight that the work is not a list of greatest hits or the best cinema films, but rather an educational resource that involved a thorough analysis.
“This inventory, ultimately, does not seek to create a canon. Instead, the entries on the following pages reflect a variety of criteria. Some works are exemplary, others important or influential, others worthy of mention in some aspect. […]This document is intended, above all, to serve as an educational resource that offers guidance and encouragement to students”, explained the scholars involved.
