Huawei is preparing to release the first final and stable version of its in-house operating system, HarmonyOS. The first two devices that benefit from the brand’s modular operating system, MatePad2a high-end tablet and Watch 3/ Watch 3 Pro.
While the official announcement is imminent, both versions of the smartwatch were released recently. Photos and videos on Sina Weibo, the Chinese social network, let our colleagues know from Huawei Central. As expected, Huawei is betting on a circular screen with a small scrolling crown on its right side.

Huawei will present two variants : watch with aluminum bezel and silicone strap, and stainless steel model with leather strap. The aluminum model is likely the standard Watch 3, while the steel model is the higher quality Watch 3 Pro.
One series in particular reveals a new perspective HarmonyOS interface for smart watch. When the Watch 3 displays the time, probably a few user-defined apps seem large. To return to the full list of apps installed on the connected watch, simply click the crown quickly. App icons are rounded and aligned in a grid pattern.
Eventually, the HarmonyOS interface will be available on all Huawei devices, including smartphones, televisions, connected speakers or connected objects. An alternative to Android will also be offered in products designed by other manufacturers. For example, Meizu is about to launch its first product under HarmonyOS. This is a first. Other manufacturers, including OnePlus or Xiaomi, are said to be considering improving the operating system in the coming years.
