However, it seems that Google has finally found an alternative to this very practical system: Quick Couple. It combines Google Nearby technologies and bluetooth BLE standard. For example, it lets you do the same with an iPhone as AirPods. As with the Apple system, you just need to approach a compatible accessory for a notification to appear on the smartphone.

The advantage of this alternative is that unlike Apple, which limited the technology to AirPods and a few Beats wireless headphones, Google opened the standard, providing a wide range of compatible accessories.
