Amazon: Alexa can now delete your voice history on demand

Personal assistants are now an integral part of our daily lives and even more useful when interacting with various connected objects in the home. But privacy remains one of the biggest concerns of users, and that concerns Alexa as well as Google Assistant and Siri. No matter which assistant you use, it is possible to clear the history of your voice commands and chats. Amazon makes it even easier.

Amazon Echo: clearing your conversation history is easier than ever

You can ask Alexa almost anything, but no delete chat history. Until now, you had to go to the app to delete history one by one or go to Amazon’s website to do it in bulk. As a reminder, Amazon records all the voice commands you make to Alexa on its servers. The company explains that this improves the voice recognition service, among other utilities.

Amazon does not allow deactivation of recordings, but you can choose to delete them periodically. The process is getting a little easier, and it’s probably not a coincidence, as Amazon and its Echo speakers have been at the center of a controversy lately. The company has been accused of allowing its employees to eavesdrop on their conversations, which it has not denied. If you don’t like this situation, you can clean it easily and regularly.
