The Nova family, a splendid array of generative AIs, boasts of Nova Micro, a text-only marvel designed for swift and cost-effective responses. Then there is Nova Lite, a wondrous multimodal model adept at processing diverse inputs of image, video, and text. Nova Pro, the crown jewel, seamlessly blends accuracy, speed, and affordability across a multitude of tasks, as proclaimed in the company’s grand announcement.
Behold Nova Premier, the pinnacle of Amazon’s creation, a realm where complex reasoning tasks are conquered with ease. Nova Canvas, a dedicated engine for transmuting text into vivid images, and Nova Reels, a visionary concoction for producing captivating videos, round out this remarkable family of AI marvels.
Optimized in 15 splendid tongues, the text-based models exhibit boundless potential. Micro, with its impressive 128,000-token context window, sets the stage for greatness. Lite and Pro, with the capacity to handle up to 300,000 tokens, stand as veritable giants in the realm of AI. The company’s vision reaches even further, with plans to expand the context windows of its grander models to a staggering 2 million tokens by the coming year.
Enter Canvas, a realm where images spring forth at the command of natural language prompts. And then, there is Reels, a masterful creation poised to rival the giants of Gen-3 Alpha, Kling, and Dall-E 3. From textual musings to reference images, Reels weaves clips of up to six seconds with finesse, offering a panoply of camera motion controls including graceful pans and deft zooms.
“As we journey on the path of progress,” declared Jassy to the enraptured assembly, “our frontier models have evolved in ways previously unimagined.
