iOS 17 allows fine-tuning of flashlight intensity via Shortcuts
To set the flashlight intensity to the lowest level, you must first:
- Open the Shortcuts app
- tap the + button in the top right corner
- Tap the “Add action” button
- search for the script “Set flashlight” and tap the button
- Tap the little blue arrow next to “Turn on flashlight”
- Drag the Brightness slider that just appeared all the way to the left
- press OK to save the shortcut
You can now place select the shortcut on your homepage and tap it to turn on Flashlight Instead of going through the Control Center. To access it even faster, if you have an iPhone 15, you can assign it to the action button or invoke it by tapping the back of your iPhone a few times, following the steps below. Settings > Accessibility > Tap on the back of the device > Tap 2 (or 3) timess and select the Shortcut you just created.
