The walkthrough in Mission 4, an Evil Dead game, will show you how to beat Pablo’s mission, It’s Not Gonna Let Us Go, which is even harder than the previous one. Pablo is a great support character and one of the best Evil Dead game characters and demons, but his mission is a real killer, so we’ll show you how to beat Evil Dead: It’s Not Gonna Let Us Go!

To beat the Evil Dead game Mission 4, It’s Not Gonna Let Us Go!, follow these steps in order:

1. Search for weapons and supplies at home
2. Kill the Dead in the trailer for Ash
3. Go to El Brujo’s Cabin
4. Fight waves of deadites
5. Obtain El Brujo’s Amulet and use it to obtain the Machete
6. Find Ash’s severed hand (twice)
7. Find Ash at the Gas Station
8. Locate the Wadesboro Junkyard gas tank
9. Find Shockley Auto gas tanks
10. Beat the Eligos boss fight
11. Return to Ash and run

Now we’ll admit, this task is probably a little easier than the previous one, but that doesn’t mean it will be any easier than the previous task when arm wrestling a gorilla. The main element in Mission 4 is the Amulet, introduced halfway through – it effectively introduces a new stealth mechanic that isn’t particularly well explained, but on which Pablo’s life now depends, as certain areas become very unsightly if you can’t sneak through Deadites and patrolling demons. We’ll cover these aspects in turn, starting with preparing yourself for the first trials.

1. Search the house for weapons and supplies before you leave

When you start the game will instantly tell you to get in the car, but don’t do it. Instead, go to the house next to it and collect all the resources around, including two sets of matches, one can of Coke and Amulet. There are also a few common ranged weapon options (though no melee options yet). We recommend the pistol in the upstairs kitchen – it’s pretty lethal and strikes a nice balance in all other respects, but players will have their own preferences and there is no empirically wrong answer.

2. Search for Ash and kill the Deadites at Camp Green Bird

Now take the car to the sign just above the road and park at a safe distance before approaching. You will be surrounded by about twelve Deadites. Kill as many as you can in range, avoid death blasts, and try to use distance and local geometry to stay in control of the battlefield. The fights aren’t too hard, but you don’t want to soften for the challenges ahead. When finished, gather nearby ammo and continue after the short cutscene explaining that Ash isn’t here.

3. Drive Carefully to El Brujo’s Cabin

Then you want to go to El Brujo’s Cabin, but be careful! It’s nearly impossible to complete this entire mission without the car eventually being destroyed (it’ll barely fail a single blow), but ideally you want to protect it for as long as possible to minimize the increased danger and fear during travel. . If you hit a Deadite on the way, you will be knocked down, so avoid all enemies and obstacles if possible.

4. Kill Deadite waves at El Brujo’s Cabin

Technically, there’s a forced wave of five Deads you have to kill once you reach the Hut, but the truth is that the area around it is so choked with undead that you’ll probably have to kill many more before that. It’s important to keep your flashlight on during these fights – darkness and weather can make it easier for you to lose track of enemies and battlefield awareness is essential.

The fewer the number of enemies, the more free you should feel free to use melee attacks that stun them and leave them vulnerable to takedowns. The moment you need to pull out the firearms for a quick kill is when you start the siege. They’ll eventually drop an ordinary line of meat, but don’t worry too much about that – you’re about to get a far superior weapon.

5. Obtain El Brujo’s Amulet and use its hidden powers to retrieve Machete

Get El Brujo’s Amulet from inside the hut after killing the Deadites. This basically gives you a limited, albeit permanent, stealth power, which we’ll explain in more detail than what the game does:

• For the remainder of the mission, Pablo will go unnoticed by the Deadites unless he gets too close and stays in line of sight (i.e. at any point roughly ten meters in front of them).
• This power becomes unreliable if Pablo runs, lights his torch, makes any kind of attack (whether he hits or not), makes a noise, or generally does anything other than the standard move.
• If a Deadite sees Pablo, all the Deadites in the local area immediately spot him and come to kill him.
• As far as we know, there are no stealth kills or methods to terminate Deadites without warning.

Technically, it’s possible to complete the quest without actually using that power, but the Dead are all over the map and you risk wearing out eventually. To practice using it, head to the Railroad Loop building the game markers and sneak around a few Deadites there. Get the Rare Machete downstairs – it’s the best melee weapon in the mission.

6. Find Ash’s severed hand in the Rail Loop and Dead End

Now you have to go and get Ash’s severed hand from another building in the Railroad Loop. Use your new stealth powers to evade the Deadites as much as possible in the wild (audible signals will help if they’re close) and take the hand in with another Shemp’s Coke. Then the hand escapes in a cutscene and you have to pick it up again from a marked House on Dead End.

Be careful! Whichever way you approach him, a Demi-Eligos will understand your secrecy and start a small boss fight in the Dead End. There’s also a proximity trap on the main door that creates a small Deadite, so watch out for that.

But inside the house you can find a wide variety of common weapons, Amulets, Shemp’s Cola and ammo. Stock up on all of that and we recommend replacing your pistol with a shotgun – it has power, has a reasonably sized clip, and most of the combat happens at close range anyway. However, a longer range weapon won’t hurt for a boss fight later – it’s just what you think you’ll need. Either way, hold, heal, and protect the hand when you’re ready, then follow the pointer.

7. Find Ash in Jake’s Gas n’ Go

Once done, take a fairly long walk/car (continuing to hide around the Deadites) to Jake’s Gas n’ Go. There is a Deadite standing in every doorway except the east door. Use it and find Ash inside, injured and with another Talisman by his side. Now the task is to get enough petrol to escape.

8. Find the gas tank in the Wadesboro Junkyard

This is probably the hardest part of the quest, as Wadesboro Junkyard is full of Deadites and one sack means fighting them all. Turn off your flashlight, do not run, and do the following as instructed:

1. Enter through the south entrance and follow the fence to the right.
2. To the right of the illuminated bathroom is a small ramp leaning against an industrial pipe. Go up and immediately on the left into the building, towards the wall that has flaky paint on it that says DAEZO CORP (or something like that).
3. Now be careful – look outside, to the West, and you’ll see a gap between shipping containers with a Deadite inside. You don’t want to take that gap, but the smaller one just north of it.
4. Bend over there, then turn right and continue straight. A gas can in front of you with a Shemp’s Cola.
5. Either track your steps to escape, take the simpler, less reliable route, rewind the West wall to the South entrance you came from, or if the starter car has survived this far, you can always try and take a break for it. Walk away, leaving the deadites behind.

9. Find two gas tanks in Shockley Auto

There are two gas tanks here in separate places – one upstairs, in a secure building filled with ammo. Make sure you have them all and take a moment to heal and upgrade the Amulet if you need it. The next gas tank is in an open courtyard that seems safe until you pick it up, and an Eligos shows up.

10. Kill Eligos in the final boss fight

This is the last big challenge. Eligos is covered in more detail in our Mission 3 review linked above, but if you want another start, this demon is a teleporter that fires ranged attacks after each teleport, occasionally appearing close to you to fire a massive melee attack. The latter is real danger, but that’s probably the only time you can get into melee with it. Use your ranged weapon for a few headshots after each ranged attack, and dodge melee hits before counterattacking with heavy hits.

11. Return to Ash and run away from the demons

Now you have your gas, head back into the wilderness towards Jake’s Gas n’ Go and find Ash. He will have dragged himself into his car – get in and you can go to the marked exit yourself.

This is where things get a little confusing – the game claims it’s being pursued by the legendary Evil Dead “sketch” demon with the camera glued to its face, making it look like a chase, but we haven’t seen any signs of it. anything that follows. We’re not saying it’s definitely not there, it’s just that this phase of the mission felt a little… vague? There are also dozens of demons to take down on the way – you might smash at least a few along the way, though be careful – we never broke our car while doing this, it might be safer not to push your luck if you want to. We’ve gotten this far. Either way, go to the marked area below Misty Groves and the quest will finally end.

4. Players who complete the mission will receive the following (well-deserved) rewards. It’s also worth noting that while Pablo has some occult powers, he doesn’t have the El Brujo Amulet invisibility anywhere other than in this mission.
