With the iPhone 6s release date more than a week away, Apple is already taking your money for the new iPhone.
This is a sign that Apple is almost ready to ship iPhone 6s pre-orders to customers who need iPhone 6s on day one.
Apple charges for iPhone 6s pre-orders, next step is Preparing to Ship.
While most users should wait for money to come out of their bank account, if you’re paying full price or aren’t used to big charges in your account, you should make sure you have money in your account.
Apple today charged two Gotta Be Mobile team members for the iPhone 6s Plus in Rose Gold and the iPhone 6s in AT&T Space Gray at AT&T. Even though Apple is charging each of us for iPhone 6s pre-orders today, Apple Store Order Status is still showing processing.
iPhone 6s Plus order status doesn’t show shipping yet.
Typically, the status changes to Preparing to Ship right after payment is processed, and then users start receiving shipment notifications.
At this time we have not received an iPhone 6s shipping notification, tracking number or other communication regarding our order.
If you don’t have enough funds in your account or the payment fails, Apple will let you choose an alternative payment without losing your next place.

You can log into your bank or credit card website to see if Apple charges you for your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus order. If you don’t see a notification on pending payments yet, it’s not time to worry because Apple may not charge everyone for a while.
