Warzone 2 DMZ Chemist guide and how to get the M13B assault rifle

If you can find and knock out the Warzone 2 DMZ Chemist, you’ll unlock the new M13B assault rifle. That’s assuming you can get away with it, ie. This new extraction-style mod requires players to collect loot before leaving the map – a high-risk/high-reward game with multiple ways to earn loot, including the Chemist objective with easy access to the M13B weapon. In this guide, we’ll show you how to find the Alchemist in Warzone 2 DMZ, how to defeat him, and the easiest way to take them out with the M13B assault rifle.

Make sure you’re prepared before you start

Before we begin, we recommend that you come prepared with a long-range rifle, 3-plate armor vest, and two other teammates to make this as easy as possible. It is possible to defeat the Alchemist alone, but it will be much more difficult. As you travel to the radiation zone, stock up on the gear you need along the way. A UAV and a gas mask are also more or less important.

Find radiation zones to start the search

As soon as you spawn, open your map and look for the radiation zone indicated by a yellow circle with a pink hazmat mark in the middle. The radiation zone will spawn in different locations in each match. This area often spawns far from your starting location, so you should be prepared for the long journey ahead.

Then we suggest you hop on the nearest vehicle to reach your destination. Remember that the large cargo truck is the best choice as it will offer plenty of protection as you head towards the radiation zone.

Wander around the radiation zones to find the chemist

As expected, if you enter the radiation zone, you will take damage slowly, just like being in the gas during normal battle royale. Fortunately, you can find gas masks all over the radiation zone, and sometimes you’ll even find durable gas masks that last much longer.

Upon arrival, you should take a look inside the area to understand your surroundings. Sometimes there are lots of buildings and little spots where your enemies can hide, so you’ll want to be careful.

At this point, your goal is to find the Alchemist, an artificial intelligence wearing a yellow hazmat suit. The spawn location changes each time, so it may take some time to find it. Fortunately, the bright yellow suit is easy to spot.

How to beat Alchemist in DMX?

In terms of looking for the Alchemist, we recommend entering the radiation zone and taking a look at each building. Try to clear the enemies if possible before moving on to the next area. If you don’t see the pharmacist, run outside the radiation zone to recover. After clearing one building, move on to the next and repeat the process.

You can also drive around inside the radiation zone with your vehicle, but this can sometimes be very risky because enemies can blow you up with ease.

Once you see the Alchemist, there are several ways to defeat him. He has a lot more health than a standard enemy, but not as much as a Juggernaut. One strategy is to crush the Alchemist with a tool. This is a surefire way to take down the Alchemist right away, assuming he’s out. If it does get in (as it did for us), you’ll have to use a different method.

You can also use explosives in Alchemist to defeat him. We used a mix of grenades and regular weapons to deal damage, and the Alchemist was down in no time. Make sure to eliminate as many enemies as possible so that you can focus the fire on the Alchemist.

Exfil with M13

As soon as the chemist is down, sprint towards his body, grab the M13B and a gas mask (if needed) and find the nearest Exfil location. Open the map and you’ll want to look at the icon of a blue person running through a door.

Find the nearest Exfil location and do your best to reach the nearest vehicle. We recommend being careful at this point to avoid falling while carrying the M13B. If you are eliminated, you will have to restart the whole process.

Head to the Exfil area, look for the helicopter and do your best to hide nearby so you don’t get caught. One thing to note is that only the player holding the M13B will earn credits to unlock it. This means that if you’re doing this with a team, each player must collect the M13B individually to unlock it.

Run to the helicopter and get out safely and you will have unlocked the M13B assault rifle.
