The iPhone 6s has received two iOS 9 updates since its launch and is about to receive another. With an iPhone 6s iOS 9.1 release on the horizon, we want to take a look at a few things to keep in mind as you approach release.
Apple’s iPhone 6s came out only a few weeks ago, but its owners have already received two iOS 9 updates. The first, iOS 9.0.1, was waiting for its owners on the iPhone 6s release date. The update provided significant bug fixes to the company’s new flagship.
The other update, iOS 9.0.2, arrived a week later. And like its predecessor, it brought some major bug fixes to the new 4.7-inch iPhone.
iOS 9.0.2 is still the most current version of iOS 9 but will soon be replaced by another update. If not iOS 9.0.3, it will be iOS 9.1, an update currently available in Apple’s Beta Software Program for developers and iPhone 6s users.
The iPhone 6s iOS 9.1 update has been confirmed, but we still don’t have an official iOS 9.1 release date. Now that Apple has reportedly skipped its usual October media event, there’s a chance we won’t learn anything about the iOS 9.1 release until Apple’s rollout begins.
With that in mind, we want to take a look at a few things we think iPhone 6s users should be looking for as the iOS 9.1 release date approaches. iOS 9.1 is the first milestone upgrade for iOS 9 and it’s important to be informed before it’s released.
