It’s been nearly a month since the iOS 9 jailbreak was first released, and we’re finally seeing a Springtomize iOS 9 release for those running jailbroken iPhones now.
Springtomize has been one of the most popular jailbreak tweaks for a few years now, mostly because it packs tons of different tweaks into one big jailbreak app that can be used to customize and modify iOS.
When the iOS 9 jailbreak was released last month, many popular jailbreak tweaks for the new version of iOS were updated pretty quickly, but one tweak that remained silent was Springtomize. There was no doubt that the tweak developers were working on the update, but many jailbreakers are wondering when the iOS 9 version will be released.
Springtomize 3, as everyone hoped, has been officially updated for iOS 9 and is available for purchase and download from Cydia.
The good news for those who have Springtomize 3 before is that you won’t have to buy it again as it will be a free update for these users. However, if you’ve never downloaded Springtomize 3 before, getting through the door will cost you a few bucks.
Still, it’s money well spent as the tweak lets you do just about anything imaginable. You can use Springtomize to speed up animations, dock five apps, hide certain app icons, change the colors of various UI elements, and much more. You can even change the animation when you press the sleep button to turn off the screen, and hide certain features in Control Center to make it simpler.
If you are interested in jailbreaking your iPhone, you can do so easily using TaiG’s jailbreak tool. If you’re interested, we have a comprehensive how-to guide to walk you through the process of jailbreaking your iPhone or iPad.
One thing to keep in mind though is that only iOS 9.0 can be jailbroken at the moment, so unfortunately you can’t jailbreak if you’re using iOS 9.1. You’ll have to wait for an iOS 9.1 jailbreak to be released first, which hopefully isn’t too far off, but who knows the point.
However, if you’re still using iOS 9.0, there’s no time like now to jailbreak your iPhone or iPad so you can customize iOS and do all sorts of cool things with your device. There are many great reasons to jailbreak, including having the ability to customize iOS, install apps that Apple wouldn’t normally allow, and get rid of some iOS annoyances you might have.
Of course, there are several reasons why you might not want to jailbreak, especially if you’re a novice iOS user. Jailbreaking can occasionally cause crashes and other issues; it’s usually not a huge deal if you know how to fix them, but if you’re not good at troubleshooting, jailbreaking may not be for you.
However, if you feel comfortable jailbreaking, Springtomize should be one of the first tweaks you install on your iPhone or iPad. We also cover some iOS 9 Cydia tweaks that you should consider checking out.
Of course, now we’re just waiting for an Apple Watch jailbreak that may happen sooner or later. We’re already looking forward to some jailbreak features we might see.
