It was a goal fest at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday evening, where Tottenham faced bottom-lined Leicester City, ultimately a comfortable win for the London-based club. Leicester City have been struggling since the start of the season and they were absolutely shattered today as Tottenham lost the game to 2 of 6 goals despite taking an early lead.
The main story behind the match was the spectacular show of Korean superstar Heung Min Son, who was not included in the starting lineup due to his poor form in the last few matches. But he responded brilliantly with a 13-minute hat trick that closed the door for the many questions posed to him en route to the match.
Coming from the bench, he scored his first goal of the season in the 72nd minute, with an absolutely vicious blitz that came from the side of the box and went straight into the upper corner of the goal. His second goal was even better because he sculpted his body nicely and placed the ball in the left corner with his left foot from outside the penalty area.
