Two Point Campus bookworms spawn randomly outside your university building, on the lawn or on the roads, but never indoors. They appear as little worms that come out of the ground, stick their heads out for a moment, then dive back into the ground and disappear like Diglett if they’re not caught.

Between their appearance and disappearance you have a small window to click on them – about 5-10 seconds – which “captures” them.
