Players can obtain V Rising Scrolls by crafting and farming through the Paper Press, a rare device that can be installed in the creator’s Castle, or by finding the world and bringing it back to their lair. These Scrolls can then be used for research in the Work, this is an effective form of the Paper and Table you worked on earlier. However, if you choose to receive this precious resource, we’ll go into more detail below on how to get Scrolls and even group them in V Rising.
How to get the V Rising Scroll for Study Research
As mentioned, players can obtain V Rising Scrolls by finding them on certain human enemies or breeding them with the Paper Press in their own Castles – an expensive but ultimately more efficient process that works well for high-level players. Assuming you have all the components and machines, you can quickly craft Scrolls at home, but these craft items are not easy to obtain and are much cheaper to go out and slay until you drop the bandits.
Whichever route you choose, we’ll explain both processes in more detail below, along with the pros and cons of each approach.

Scrolls are a valuable source material that, as far as we can tell at the time of writing, is only found as a drop of human enemies. We’ve also heard that Dunley Farmlands has a higher drop rate than Farbane Woods, but we haven’t confirmed this ourselves.
Whatever the case, the best thing you can do as a Vampire in need of paperwork is to check the map and look at all the important areas around you. Everything you discover is marked by what items can be found there – this includes Scrolls. Go to these areas and clear them quickly, making sure you kill all the enemies, loot all the chests, and break every chest, barrel and container inside – each of them has a chance to hold a Scroll. Once you’ve completely emptied this place, move on to the next camp and repeat this bloody process until you’ve cleared all the camps, filled your inventory or need to return to your Stronghold. It’s a fairly imprecise method, but it won’t cost you much and you can get a lot more resources than just Scrolls by performing such raids.
Players can make their own Scroll within their Stronghold using equipment called Paper Press, which we explain how to enter in our guide. V Rising Paper. And while Paper is the most obvious thing it can do, Scrolls can do too when you use the right materials and resources. Specifically, the following components and resources:
- Gem Powder (x12)
- Paper (x4)
Again, check the guide above for getting Paper. Gem Dust is obtained in a bunch of different ways, but any stone you hit has little chance of dropping the material – so run out at your local quarry and crush everything sedimentary until you have what you need. Alternatively, build a Absorber and throw precious gems into it – an effective but expensive way to create Gem Dust.
