How to Cancel Apple Music Subscription on iPhone and Android

I like Apple Music. It works flawlessly on the iPhone and is seamlessly intertwined with the rest of the Apple ecosystem. And its widespread availability on Android and Windows means I have zero problems accessing my music no matter what device I use.

But with Spotify, Amazon Music, and YouTube Music, I’m getting harder and harder to subscribe to Apple Music every day.

If you’re in the same boat but have decided to give up on Apple Music, let me show you what to do to cancel your subscription.

It will also work if all you’re looking for is avoiding being billed at the end of Apple Music’s generous 3-month trial.

Note that you can cancel your Apple Music subscription on any device you use, such as an iPhone, Android smartphone, Mac or Windows PC. Since your subscription is tied to your Apple ID, the cancellation will automatically apply to all devices.

Note: Even if you cancel your subscription, you can continue to use Apple Music until the end of the current billing period. You can see how much time you have left in the final stages of the cancellation process.
