Sky Sports expert Tim Sherwood thinks Manchester United should and won’t appoint Ralf Rangnick as manager next season. He says there is no improvement in Manchester United’s performance compared to Ole Gunnar Solkjaer’s performance.
“For what he has produced since he got there, there has been no improvement since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer,”said the expert sky sports.
“I don’t see any playstyle as different, I don’t see results improving. He definitely managed to get away with a job. ”
Sherwood’s comments come after Manchester United drew 0-0 at home to Watford last weekend, drawing for the third time in five Premier League games they hadn’t won in the Premier League.

Ralf Rangnick joined Manchester United as interim manager for this season in the second half of last year and his team has yet to show any consistency. Manchester United are currently in fourth place in the Premier League table, separating them by just two points from fifth West Ham.
Rangnick’s men will take a test against league leaders Manchester City in their next match as they head to the Etihad Arena for tomorrow’s Manchester Derby.

When asked if Rangnick would remain in his position, the interim manager did not rule out anything and said he had not thought about it and was focusing on Manchester United’s upcoming matches.
“I have no idea and I don’t have any thoughts on that either because I’m focusing on Sunday and then the next game against Tottenham, Atletico… and to be honest, I don’t have the time or space to think about anything else.”
As the 63-year-old German prepares to take on a consulting role at Old Trafford during the summer, talk about Rangnick taking over the job after the end of the season is likely to be futile.
