How to Easily Add Multiple Authors to a WordPress Post

Same for adding multiple authors or co-authors. You’ll have more than a handful of options, some of which will be worth your time. You know the drill: go to your website control panel, go to: Plugins > Add Newand search for the Molongu plugin. Make sure you have the Author Box plugin installed and enabled, not the One-Click Boost that will appear next to it in search results.

The rest is simple as the plugin works out of the box – if you have already set up multiple authors on your WordPress website. Go to a new page or an existing page and look in the lower right corner of the window. You will see a new card that says Authors and you can add as many authors as you want there — both those that already have user profiles on your website and that you want to add as guests.

Then, when you publish the post and see who is responsible for creating it, you’ll see both user authors and guest authors you’ve quickly added.

That’s it — you can use this plugin to add any number of authors to posts on your WordPress website. You don’t even need to add them as users – the quick guest feature lets you add new authors on the go.

What Else Can You Do With the Plugin?

Molongu Authorship does not cease to be great here – lets you do other cool things with your writers. For example, it lets you add an author box that goes just below the article. So if Users > All Usersselect a user and go to Molongu Authoring options, you’d be surprised what he could do with that writer’s box.

At the very least, you’ll be able to write a full bio – a short version is available for professional users – and set a local avatar.

Next, you’ll have sections for professional information that includes phone number, job title, company, and company website.

Professional information is followed by a list of social profiles that you can add to your author’s box in the free version. All the major social networks are there, including YouTube, Blogger, Instagram, Skype and Twitter.

Finally, you’ll have access to some of the plugin’s settings related to the author’s box, including whether it should be displayed and what kind of information should be included. And let’s not forget that finally the Pro version gives you the option to turn an author into a guest.

After fine-tuning your author’s box, you can navigate to the bottom right corner of the post editor and find the Authoring Box menu options. You can choose to view or hide them and you can also choose their location.

And there it will be – authors who add some information to their author’s boxes will be able to show it. The rest will have a large empty space where their images and information can be.
