Instagram: cHow can I view pending requests on my cell phone?
You can start by trying on your cell phone. This way, you will have the information in the palm of your hand without any major complications.
1. Start by opening the app on your phone and access your profile page via the photo in the bottom right corner.
2. In the top right corner of the profile page, tap the icon with three lines to access settings.
3. Within the settings, choose “Your Activity” for more options.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select “Download Your Information” to export data, which includes posts, messages and pending orders.
5. On the next screen, fill in preferences, such as notifications, email and file format.
6. Choose HTML format for easier viewing and set the quality of images and videos.
7. Select the desired period, such as “All Time” or “Last 3 Months”.
8; Tap “Send Request” and wait for Instagram to prepare the file for download.
After downloading, open the file to check the contents. Inside you will find a folder with pending orders and other information.
To find pending requests, you must search for “followers_and_following” to find an HTML file called “pending_follow_requests”.
How to view pending requests on your computer?
You can also make the same request using your PC. Although many people use the application, it is possible to perform it on the computer and leave it stored in its memory. Although they are procedures for the same purpose, it is necessary to remember that there are differences.
1. Start by accessing your Instagram account through the browser on your computer. Sometimes it may be necessary to utilize two-factor authentication by entering the appropriate credentials.
2. Go to your profile page, click on the three lines icon in the top right corner to access settings.
3. Within the settings, find and click on the “Your Activity” option.
4. Then, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select the “Download Your Information” option. With this, you can download various data offered by the account, including pending orders, posts and messages.
5. On the next screen, enter an email address. It doesn’t necessarily have to be the same address associated with your Instagram account. Choose the HTML format from the options and click “Next”.
You will then be informed that the file is being created. When it is finished, you will receive an email with the file to download. Once you have access to the file, save it to your computer from the email you received.
Once downloaded, make sure you follow the correct path to find the appropriate folder. If everything went well, within the destination folder of the downloaded file, you will find several subfolders.
Now, just search for “followers_and_following” to find the files related to followers and people you follow, including pending requests.
