In the new pattern and pace of consumption acquired thanks to the internet, one truth must always be said: be very careful when carrying out online shopping.
Procon recently released a list of 44 shopping sites that consumers should avoid in the first half of 2023.
Throughout this year, the agency has already identified at least 28 unreliable links, taking into account customer complaints about irregularities in e-commerce, such as non-delivery of purchased products and lack of responses from sellers.
Sites with suspicious links are the biggest perpetrators of fraud
Last year, the Procon listed 41 untrustworthy sites; but now, the “Avoid These Sites” list counts a total of 89 portals where consumers are strongly advised to avoid shopping online.
Among the listed sites, there is a case where the same address appears twice, belonging to different companies.

Of the 44 websites added in the first half of this year, only three remain active to date, which requires extra attention from all consumers. They are: 123multiofertas.net, tiggoshop.com.br and bmjbaby.com.br.
