The 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which takes place between January 9th and 12th, is full of exciting revelations, and the South Korean giants Samsung and LG do not disappoint technology enthusiasts.
Both companies take the opportunity to introduce significant innovations, especially in relation to televisions.

LG, known for its excellence in OLED technology, surprised the public by unveiling the LG Signature OLED T, the brand’s first transparent television.
The product stands out not only for its 4K resolution, but also for its impressive transparency. The Signature T OLED is made up of two main parts: the transparent screen and a contrast filter.
When lifted, this filter turns the TV into a normal device. This innovative advancement redefines the aesthetic possibilities of televisions, thus offering a unique experience to consumers.
Integration of artificial intelligence
In addition to advances in TVs, LG has focused efforts on artificial intelligence (AI) and smart homes.

Samsung
Meanwhile, Samsung focuses on significant improvements to the processors of its new TVs, with emphasis on the Neo QLED 8K line.
The NQ8 AI Gen3 processor, with a faster neural processing unit and eight times more networks neural than the previous generation, it provides better upscaling for non-originally 8K content.

The new S90D and S95D OLED TVs offer up to 20% brighter screens compared to previous versions, as well as AI-enhanced color accuracy.
CES 2024 is also the stage for the debut of Samsung’s microLED technology on transparent screens. In this regard, participants’ jaws dropped when they saw the great news about transparent TVs.
Additionally, the brand announced a strategic partnership with Hyundai in order to incorporate Smart Things AI functionalities into cars. Smart Things, in turn, will receive improvements in AI to adapt to users’ routines.
