The interruption began today, the 31st, and several brands were affected by the closure of the application on their devices. Among the brands impacted by WhatsApp’s interruption are big names in technology, such as LG, Samsung and Apple.

WhatsApp may occasionally crash on some older phones. This is because the app needs to be constantly updated to ensure it is secure and works properly.
Unfortunately, some older devices cannot support these updates, so WhatsApp can no longer be used on them. This may leave some people without access to the application.
This time, 35 cell phone models will be affected due to their outdatedness. To access the messenger, there are not many alternatives other than purchasing a more current model.
Another more accessible tip is to disable the device’s automatic update so that the use of WhatsApp lasts longer on your cell phone.
These old models no longer process WhatsApp, which is why the application has stopped working. Devices that will have the messenger disabled have Android 4.1 (and previous versions) and iOS 12 (and previous versions).
To access the application without major problems, it is necessary to purchase a more modern model, with updated processors. Check the list of devices that can no longer access WhatsApp:
