Why was TJ Dillashaw banned from fighting?

A few things come to mind when you think of TJ Dillashaw. Championship streaks and perfect knockouts are two of them. However, one big flaw in his resume that fans will never forget is steroid abuse.

USADA explains the usage of the drug as follows, “rHuEPO is a synthetic hormone used to stimulate the body’s red blood cell production, thereby increasing oxygen transport and aerobic power, and is a prohibited substance under the UFC Anti-Doping class of Peptide Hormones, Growth Factors, Related Substances and Mimetics. As a result, Dillashaw was out of the field for two years and was forced to relinquish his minor welterweight title.
