Charles Oliveira will make his second championship defense against one of the world’s deadliest fighters. Oliveira will face Justin Gaethje in the main event of UFC 274. “Do Bronx” has been untouchable in the last few fights and has shown no sign of weakness in terms of coming back from a tough spot.

He won the title against Michael Chandler and defended it against Dustin Poirier in his final match. Gaethje criticized Oliveira’s heart, accusing her of ‘giving up’ for her previous losses. Charles has shown incredible resilience in his last two games and Gaethje’s perspective on the champion has completely changed.

Gaethje took his chances by going into an absolute battle against Michael Chandler. He’s more focused than ever and wants to make the most of his second title. Gaethje knows that Oliveira is better on the field than him, so he is working on his stand-up skills and wants to stop him before the fight even starts.

Now that the event is just around the corner, Justin is currently sitting down with Megan Olivi from other countries. ESPNand discussed his comments about the champion, he said, “I wasn’t overly critical, I wasn’t saying he was a bad champion, I was saying that when he lost, he didn’t even knock out, sometimes he quit.”

Added, “The choice to let go is something one makes, and once you do, you can do it again because you know it’s there. I don’t think I ever made this choice. Some people don’t, and I believe some have… I believe he has, and that’s all I said. Deep down, I believe he knows his way out, and that’s when he gives up whenever he’s hit too hard.”
