Darren Till faces Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 282 this Saturday. Till is currently at a difficult point in his career as he has won 1-4 in his last 5 games. His last defeat was against Derek Brunson in 2021 and has been looking forward to returning ever since.
Until given a chance to face Marvin Vettori once and Jack Hermansson twice, but had to withdraw from these fights due to a series of injuries. Just a week away from UFC 282, Till faced another horrific injury that nearly ruined his comeback.

The injury got worse as time went on, worrying everyone in Till’s camp. Till described it as one of the most painful experiences of his life but by the grace of god he was healed and is now fit to compete.

Darren Till talks about coping with a series of unfortunate injuries
Until you have a hard time coping with all the injuries. He received heavy criticism from everyone, and people even pointed out that he was faking to some extent. Till couldn’t help but prove everything wrong with his comeback.
In the same interview, he talked about his dark phase and said: I don’t talk much about my injury, everyone knows I’m disabled. I couldn’t do much for the fight, I just didn’t want to withdraw from the fight, that’s how it was back then. Now, I know I have some name and people always say I’m withdrawn, but I got that challenge.

Added, “I was absolutely cursing. I’m not buying anything DerekHe beat me fairly, but I could only prepare for that fight one way, and it was just some boxing pad and some bike.
Until Du Plessis has a tough opponent and realizes he has to leave everything inside the octagon to get back to the winning column. It will be an interesting fight and fans are really excited to watch them honk.
