Paulo Costa went to the Chechen superstar on the latest episode of the MMA Hour and bragged about stealing the spotlight. “Chimaev, I stole a little from his high because he was drunk. I stole his sleep, I stole his hat, I stole the main event fight. I stole everything” Said Costa on the MMA Hour show.
“Chimaev, son of a bitch, you have to do something. I stole everything you have… You’re offended. I think I need to fight that guy.” said Costa with Ariel Helwani. MMA Time. Costa is definitely mixing things up for his next fight.

Can Paulo Costa fight Khamzat Chimaev from now on?
Khamzat has taken the UFC by storm and is one of the favorites currently battling for the middleweight title. But “Borz” cast his chances of the title into great doubt after his disastrous weight at UFC 279. After struggling to gain 170 pounds, Khamzat and his team are seriously considering moving into the middleweight division.
Chimaev has fought in middleweight before and found it relatively easy to gain 185 pounds. Despite his stardom, Chimaev will not have a straight shot at the middleweight title. Former title contender Paulo Costa could be the perfect stepping stone for Chimaev if he wants to top the spot with 185.
