“Only up from here” – Arman Tsarukyan promises to recover stronger after losing against Mateusz Gamrot at UFC Vegas 57

Arman Tsarukyan and Mateusz Gamrot faced off at the main event of the UFC on ESPN 38, which took place within the UFC APEX. The fight was an incredible match of skills from both fighters as it was completely action packed over the course of 5 rounds. Both light fighters entered the fray with multiple winning streaks and the goal of extending it.

From the very beginning, both fighters took control of their game plan and began to measure each other. The fight was fast paced and remained that way for most of the rounds. Both fighters reciprocated kicks and punches and were also throwing down throws. Tsarukyan looked better in the first two rounds as he made more connections. As the fight progressed, Gamrot was looking forward to a perfect takedown, and he succeeded, but was unable to take down his opponent.

In the final laps, Gamrot was gaining the upper hand and making the transitions from takedowns to strikes nicely. After five rounds, Gamrot was declared the winner by unanimous decision.

He walked head-to-toe against Islam and many thought he would be a problem for every top contender in the division. Arman is not sorry for this loss and is a man who will work even harder, think about his mistakes and come back stronger than ever.
