In addition to publishing the clip, Diaz also wrote on the headlines. “Respect your OG you fat son of a bitch.” Cormier replies: “Nathan calm down.”

Following Diaz’s departure from the UFC, Cormier weighed in on what’s next for the Stockton native in California. He stated his purpose in one of the videos on his Youtube channel. “UFC is a little bit worse today because Nate Diaz is no longer there” says Cormier. “I think he’s going to box Jake Paul after this, and if he doesn’t… there’s some interesting stuff out there for him. Mike Perry in bare knuckle boxing, interesting! But I wouldn’t recommend it for Nate Diaz… so Diaz has options… but he left the door open to come back…” he continued.
However, there were rumors that Diaz received untrue offers from the Bare Finger Fighting Championship. As the air cleared by sports journalist Ariel Helwani, Diaz entered a 3-month negotiation period with the UFC after his last contract with the company expired. In other words, no other party can approach Diaz with his offer, in short, it is illegal.
