Michael Chandler wants to be the #3 fighter in the UFC lightweight division as he has been so dominant in his last few fights. Chandler recently battled Tony Ferguson at UFC 274 on May 7 at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. The fight was highly anticipated, as both fighters were extremely fierce.
In the fight, Chandler shook the world, knocking Ferguson down in the second round. Chandler stunned Ferguson with a brutal front kick to the jaw that is now considered one of the best knockouts in UFC history.
The fight was fun and Chandler once again proved why he is one of the most exciting fighters in the episode. Prior to the Ferguson battle, Chandler also fought Justin Gaethje in a brutal battle that was very exciting to watch.

Chandler recently took excitement To tell his fans and followers that he deserves to be the #3 fighter in the lightweight category.
In the tweet, Chandler revealed that he had knocked out his number 7 fighter Ferguson in the second round, which should have been enough to boost his ranking. Chandler explained that he should be above Beneil Dariush and Islam Makhachev because they are less dominated than he is.

The new UFC lightweight rankings are out and contain no major changes. After being stripped of the title, Charles Oliveira became the #1 fighter. Chandler failed to move up the rankings and will have to settle for 5th place below Dustin Poirier, Gaethje and Makhachev.
