“I’d like to see you fight Canelo” said Joe, speaking to Mike Tyson on the Hotboxin podcast. “I really would. I want to see him get a big payday, not because I think he’s a favorite in a boxing match against one of the greatest boxers of all time.”

While Usman may emerge as a major underdog in the fight, Joe believes the middleweight champion can make a lot of money and a defeat against Alvarez won’t affect his potential as a UFC fighter. “It’s a way of making a lot of money and I don’t think it hurts his potential as a UFC fighter. I think it will be an invaluable experience for him as a champion.” said Rogan, speaking to Tyson on the podcast.

Kamaru currently sweeps the entire middleweight division. Now in the beltline, he’s managed to beat some of the top contenders twice. Usman has the longest active winning streak in the middleweight division with 15 fights. Usman has never been beaten in the octagon and already makes a big case for UFC fighters to be on Mount Rushmore.
