Bo Nickal A new fan favorite from Dana White’s Contender Series. The American wrestler, who won the hearts of fans with his two fights in the series, now goes to the big guns of the squad. Bo wants Khamzat Chiamev and wants to test the Chechens’ skills.
Dana White Contender’s Series was a huge hit. This season, one of the most promising fighters on the show was the middleweight fighter. Bo Nickal. Usually, a great win will get you a contract right away, but White wanted to see Bo another time and the boy surrendered!
Now that a contract with the UFC has been offered, Nickal made his first call and for a fight against the Chechen monster Khamzat Chimaev. The DCWS competitor is confident he can take down Chimaev due to his background in American wrestling.
“If the UFC wants it, give me that Swedish guy. He might not even be the best guy because he can’t even lose weight.” Nickal jokes on the presser foot. “I feel like he’s a good match for me. He’s obviously a top fighter, a top fighter. I have a lot of respect for his skills, but I also know what I’m all about.” said Bo.

Dana White closes Khamzat Chimaev match for Bo Nickal
While Bo Nickal is an incredible talent who is only a 26-year-old American Top Team talent, he is immediately an incredible prospect for the middleweight division. Khamzat Chimaev’s call seemed very wild to the fans and also to the UFC President.
At the post-fight press conference, Dana White immediately closed the match. Nickal may be an incredible talent, but the UFC boss doesn’t believe the Contender Series graduate is ready to face a fighter like Chimaev. “Let’s not go crazy here. You can’t test it against ranked abilities.” said Nick.
“You bring it in as you bring any possibility. You cultivate him, you give him fights. The problem is, there are no easy fights here.” Added white. If Nickal maintains good form, it’s only a matter of time before we see him tested against monsters like Chimaev.
