Jon Jones‘s latest provocative post on Twitter to prove he’s better than himself Khabib Nurmagomedov It backfired as fans called the former light heavyweight unsafe.
Jon Jones is claimed as a GOAT by almost everyone in the mixed martial arts sport. Despite being applauded by many, fans believe Jones is very insecure about his status as the all-time greatest and needs constant validation from time to time. One of the fighters with the biggest fan base, Khabib Nurmagomedov is considered by a small fraction of the MMA fanbase to be the greatest player to grace the UFC octagon.
Jones is obviously not very happy about it. The former light heavyweight champion occasionally posted content that was overtly provocative and incited social media “wars” between her two biggest fan bases. Jones recently posted a tweet about Khabib Nurmagomedov. “One of my friends texted me this, I just thought I’d post it on my Twitter. There is nothing else to say” He wrote of Jones in his tweet with a poster comparing Jones and Khabib’s résumé.
The chart released by Jones highlights that Khabib has a total of 13 UFC fights and Jones has won 14 UFC titles alone. With no one recently claiming that Khabib is better than Jones, fans believed it was a very salty move from the former champion. Nurmagomedov has a record of 29-0, which is an excellent record by any standards. Jones On the other hand, he has a 26-1-0 record in his professional career.

Some fans supported Jones’ statement from his last tweet. Most MMA fans were shocked when someone as big as Jones downgraded and slandered a fighter who retired from professional fighting in 2020. After Jones’ last tweet, fans followed the former light heavyweight’s accusations of steroids.
Although Jones is the greatest fighter in the history of promotion, many discredit his career for being on steroids. Jon also has a very troubled personal life and has gotten into trouble a few times. Jones has always been slandered for his past allegations of domestic abuse.
