Most UFC fans probably remember Kelvin Gastelum for his all-out war against Israel Adesanya. Izzy used her height and reach advantage to dominate, but Kelvin countered with strength. Either way, it was a close match that could go all the way to the 5th round.
In the final round, Izzy punched and kicked his way to another success, and after the battle of Adesanya, Kelvin continued to fight the more elite opposition. Before who fought against AdesanyaKelvin had defeated Michael “The Count” Bisping, Uriah Hall and Johnny Hendricks, all of whom were the top opposition in their own right.

Who will be Kelvin Gastelum’s next fight as he tries to improve his record?
As he tries to start over, Gastelum will try to channel some of the spirits he has in his fights against Bisping, Adesanya or Hall. With his comeback imminent, Gastelum needs a fight to throw his hat back into the ring. In September, La Fleur reported that Kelvin Gastelum’s next fight would be another attempt at their unsuccessful match against MMA Factory candidate Nassourdine Imavov.
Nassourdine Imavov should be considered a dangerous rivalry for Gastelum. Imavov fights outside the MMA Factory with prospects like Francis Ngannou and Cirryl Gane. The Imavov is a real contender in the middleweight division with a big frame and 75-inch reach. And since he’s young, he hasn’t hit his prime yet.

It’s not yet clear what this new Gastelum’s comeback will be like, but fans can only hope to see that explosiveness and fighting spirit again.
