Paddy last night the UFC absolutely blew up the roof of the O2 Arena in London. It is undeniable that the fighter managed to entertain his fans. However, after the fight, Paddy made a dig at the UFC Hall of Famer, Khabib Nurmagomedov.
After the outbreak of the pandemic, the UFC got their promotion to host England. UFC Fight Night 204. The card surprisingly made headlines Tom Aspinall and Alexander Volkov but it’s fair to say he absolutely stole the show with Paddy Pimblett’s performance. From strikeout to submission win to an ecstatic post-fight interview, Paddy was the complete package of entertainment.
Pimblett captured Rodrigo Vargas on the main card and won the fight by surrendering in the first round. The MMA community around the world is pouring love on Pimblett for her performance. In a post-fight interview with ESPN MMA, Paddy researched Khabib Nurmagomedov and said that despite his tremendous career, the Dagestanian has never been in a fight as exciting as Scouser.

“It could be 29-0” Paddy Pimblett downplays Khabib Nurmagomedov’s achievements
Speaking to ESPN MMA, “This is another performance of the night. I’m never in a boring fight, that’s something you can’t say about me.” said Bad Paddy. His win at the O2 Arena last night was Paddy’s second first-round win at the UFC, and he only appeared in two fights in the promotion.
Khabib is without a doubt one of the greatest to ever do this. Earlier this month, at UFC 272, Khabib was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame for his dominant career. The Dagestanian has a 29-0 record and has never been in real danger in his fights, making him one of the most dominant fighters to sport the sport. However, Paddy isn’t completely out of it.
